8-year-old boy dies in Walsall after reportedly having a cardiac arrest at an indoor play centre

The boy, 8 years old, reportedly died from cardiac arrest at an indoor gaming center. Rescuers set out for Crash Bang Wallop on Lindon Road in Walsall near Birmingham.

The child received advanced life support on the spot and was taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

Unfortunately, he died after the incident on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.

His death was not considered dubious and he was dependent on a funeral.

A West Midlands police spokesman said: “Yesterday (February 1) we were called to the playground at Lindon Road in Walsall for reports of a child with a cardiac arrest.

“The eight-year-old boy was taken to the hospital, but despite all the efforts of the rescue service, he died sadly.

“His death was not considered dubious and was referred to the coroner’s office.”

Crash Bang Wallop declined to comment, but posted on social media that the site was now closed.
